Those Who Journey Into My Subconscious

Very interesting dream last night... I had a dream that my entire family and I moved into a new house together. The house was very old and beautiful, and it had a large in-ground pool. The pool walls were clear and if you were in the basement of the house, you could see into the pool. The pool was very deep (more than 10 feet). The bottom of the pool had ancient looking statues. Inside of the house, I found an Akan drum. I've never seen an Akan drum, but in the dream I called it that. It was beautiful and had carvings all over it. The drumstick, mallet or whatever was a long, smooth bone and hitting different parts of the drum with it created beautiful sounds. I don't play the drums, but in the dream I played that drum perfectly. I didn't know why or how. When looking out of the top window (the house was 2 or 3 stories) there was a beautiful view of a very old, abandoned, and decaying tower. It looked Moroccan or Arabic in design. I found a picture that looks almost exactly like what I dreamed of. The building/temple was much larger than this. It was larger than a football stadium and tall like a skyscraper.

The big, gold part was all windows, and one side of it appeared to be smashed in. The stairs leading to it were old and broken. I didn't get a chance to explore it, but no one wanted me to. A feeling of danger came from the temple/building, but I was still curious to explore it because no one had been to it for decades or even longer.
I explored the house and land by myself, as my family did their own exploring in a group. When walking the lower (underground) levels of the house, the statues moved and communicated to me. They were ancestral statues, and they told me they were pleased with me. I played the drum for them, I think. Before I left the house, I took pictures of the statues, and they allowed this. I remember how happy it made me to know my ancestors were pleased with me. We left the house, and I was a bit sad to leave my ancestors, but I knew I would return.

I found pictures that are similar to the drum in my dream:

Some of the statues in the pool look similar to Picture 1.
