So last night, I had a dream that it was me and my sister. Only, it wasn't my "real life" sister. It was a girl who looked a lot like me. Only she was taller, slimmer, and a bit less intelligent. I remember that being with her made me feel less confident in myself, but I loved her dearly. I think I was younger than her. She was learning to drive, yet our dad wanted her to drive this different, smaller car.

The Family Gathering dream

I was at some type of family function. It was like a friend of the family's family gathering, yet my family had been invited, too. The first disaster was that the caterer had messed up (I think). There was no vegan food for me, so I just had to be hungry the whole day, lol. The father was on the phone cussing the caterer out about my food (he loved me and was PISSED, lol). I told him that it's ok. I'm sure there's something I could eat. So later on, we walk over this bridge to a park area, I think. There was this one girl who was practically naked. She had come to the family gathering (uninvited), because she was trying to get with the son of the main family. Everyone wanted us (me and the son) to get together.

What are dreams? Are they merely your mind filtering out the junk that is cluttering your subconscious? Are they visions/premonitions... Sight into the past or future? Are they astral projections?

I can't really remember the dream. I remember driving on the road. I think I was in the back seat. We were moving, yet simultaneously not. We kept passing the same building and I was going to ask how much the rent was. Then we went into the second hand store. I remember windows. A strange, wicker coffin that had a price tag of 1 dollar, even though I said it was 50 cents. There were three little bird things in it. They had little stick to stick into the ground or something. There were also plastic flowers.

The dream I had, I had after midnight. I don't remember the start or the end. In the dream, I was dressed in just the t-shirt I fell asleep in. A green t-shirt and nothing else. I was on the phone with this guy that I'm friends with (we used to talk, and he has been in my dreams before). We were laughing and I went into the garage and found an mac laptop. I had it, but I never knew if it worked or not. He told me to see if it works, and it did. So, I go back into the house. The cordless phone turned into a cord phone. I notice a tall, dark-skinned (beautiful complexion), clean-cut brother with glasses, walk up to the side door.

Crossing

I had the following dream last night (well after midnight): I remember driving in a car. It was me and my best friend & a few other people (that I don't remember. I think two of her sisters were with us). Somewhere in the dream, we got out of the car. We were trying to find a way to our destination (wherever/whatever that was). In the dream, there was a long, narrow path on either side of a river.
